Wrestlemania: From The Closed Circuit to The Global Phenomenon

Wrestlemania Atmosphere (mms.businesswire.com )
This annual event has a lot of nicknames, "Grandest Stage of Them All" "The Showcase Of The Immortals", The Show of Shows". This is Wrestlemania. An annual event of Professional Wrestling or  nowdays called Sport-Entertainment. this is one of the most spectacular sporting event of all, the important event for The Professional Wrestling itself and become "The Super Bowl", "The Kentucky Derby", "The Daytona 500", "The Wimbledon" of Sports Entertainment.
On the recent time, Wrestlemania has submitted  its legacy in the top Five Sporting Events/Brands which have a great Value and produce millions of dollars alongside NFL Super Bowl, Summer Olympic, Winter Olympic and FIFA World Cup according the trusted financial magazine "Forbes". The Recent Wrestlemania, Wrestlemania 31 in San Francisco Bay Area created brand value until $ 170 Millions.
The Question is; How can this Unlikely-Sports (Scripted, Booked) event equal the bechmark of "pure" Sporting events, event defeat Boxing and MMA (Fighting and Brawl sports) in creating a "Brand Value" ?
This is Began when the genious multi-millionaires wannabe at that time Vince Mc Mahon created a concept of one stop sports-entertainment event in a single day each year. At that time wrestling had no benchmark event that could make people await for a year just like Super Bowl and gather thousands of people on that event. Mc Mahon want to stole the attention of all American people on Professional Wrestling. His co-worker, WWE Hall of Fame and former WWE Announcer Howard Finkel named that concept, and Wrestlemania was born in 1985.
Combined Rock and Wrestling concept, Mc Mahon was risking their company financial position on this ambitious project as he spent a huge amount of money to book best wretlers and Pop Culture Icons at that time. Wrestlemania I Booked Hulk Hogan & Mr.T vs Rowdy Piper & Paul Orndorff in the main event and Muhammad Ali became the special guest referee. The result of Wrestlemania I was astonishing. 19,121 tickets sold out in Madson Square Garden. It Stole the attention of one million viewers at home althought played in closed circuit line at that time.
Wrestlemania I was a huge success, Mc Mahon succeded combining Pop-Wrestling at the same time. WWE becoming the first Wretling Promoters which made the Pro-Wrestling has a position on the mainstream media and Pop Culture. Others Wrestling Promoters such as NWA and AWA had never done it. What a brilliant idea from the trailblazer of Sports-entertainment.
Wretlemania III Record Breaking Crowd (http://www.ballecourbe.ca)
From Wretlemania I to another Wrestlemania, show after show, WWE continuosly made huge success and broke couples of record not only in sports but also in entertainment. Wrestlemania II became the first sports even to host the event from 3 different arenas; Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Rosemont Horizon and Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. those combined 40.085 attended Wrestlemania II ( Hulk Hogan Vs King Kong Bundy on the main event). WM III contested an Iconic Main Event between "Unstoppable Force" Hulk Hogan against the "Immovable Object" Andre The Giant. also the match beetwen Randy Savage vs Ricky Steamboat stole the show and considered as the best wrestling match of all time according to Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Wrestlemania III considered to become the largest Wrestlemania ever produced. This Event was attended by 93.173 spectators at Pontiac Silverdome, Detroit, Michigan. established a world record attendance of indoor sporting event before it was broken by NBA All Star game at Cowboys Stadium with 108,713 in 2010.
In the 90', Wrestlemania Continuosly made a lot of improvement from the concepts, storylines, and of course the events itselves. during "The Monday Night War" againt WWE's competitior WCW, WWE decided to make a concept of "attitude era". It made the storylines more intriguing with the ruthless agression attitude from each wrestlers. The Brutality from the men wrestles, and the femme fatale attitude from women wrestlers in Wrestlemania succeded to defeat WCW annual event "Starcade". Numbers of wrestlers from "attitude era" were born such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and more. combination of Sport and Entertainment once again was proven.

Once in a Lifetime (gossipdavid.com)
in 2000' , after the Acquisition of WCW, the assets of WWE both human and capital were getting more bigger than before. WWE becoming the Single Player in major Professional Wrestling promoters and made the attention of wrestling fans focused to WWE. this made the chance of making bigger and better wrestlemania with all attention from all wrestling people easier. The Undefeated Streak of The Undertaker, John Cena vs The Rock in "Once in a lifetime" match, Money in The Bank Ladder Match, Yes Movement of Daniel Bryan, The Beast Brock Lesnar, and The Shield (Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose) were becoming the main attraction of Wretlemania in 2000' era until the recent Wretlemania. as the result, the revenue from The Grandest Stage of Them All  getting more bigger year after year. Due to the statements in the earlier, Wrestlemania becoming one of the sporting-entertainment event with the high value. this event always steals the attentions of people not only from US, but also around the world.
